Non-Alcoholic Layered Drinks (Jewel-Tone Virgin Layered Mocktail)

Non-alcoholic layered drinks with three vivid jewel-toned layers—grenadine, chilled lemonade, and blue raspberry—stacked cleanly in a tall clear glass. A simple floating technique without bleeding keeps each layer distinct for a colorful party mocktail.

Ingredients

Assemble and layer
  • 0.25 cup grenadine syrup Use room-temperature grenadine for easier pouring; it should sink to the bottom.
  • 0.5 cup lemonade, chilled Cold lemonade helps maintain clean separation between layers.
  • 0.25 cup blue raspberry sports drink or blue raspberry lemonade, chilled Keep cold so the top layer floats sharply.
  • 1 Ice cubes Fill the glass almost to the top for stable layering.
  • 1 Maraschino cherries and striped straws for garnish Garnish on top right before serving.

Method

Layer the drink
  1. Fill a tall clear glass with ice cubes almost to the top so the layers have something to rest on.
  2. Pour the grenadine syrup slowly over the ice; it will sink to the bottom to form the first deep red layer.
  3. Hold a spoon just above the ice and gently pour the chilled lemonade over the back of the spoon to create a clean golden middle layer.
  4. In the same way, pour the chilled blue raspberry drink over the back of the spoon to float it as a bright blue top layer without mixing.
  5. Top with a maraschino cherry and a striped straw, then serve immediately without stirring to keep the layers intact.

Notes

Pro tip: keep every liquid chilled and pour slowly over the spoon—fast pouring can cause layers to bleed. Store any leftovers in the fridge up to 24 hours, but layering will blend over time (best served immediately); freezing is not recommended. For a lighter option, use diet lemonade and a zero-sugar blue raspberry drink (the layered look will remain if liquids are equally cold).
